Federal Premium Grand Slam Turkey 12 Gauge Copper Plated Lead Ammo is a purpose built turkey hunting shotshell designed to deliver dense, consistent patterns and dependable downrange performance. The Grand Slam line combines high quality copper plated lead shot with Federal’s specialized FLITECONTROL FLEX™ wad system, which is designed to work with both standard and ported turkey chokes.
The FLITECONTROL FLEX wad opens from the rear to provide a controlled release of the payload, while Federal’s advanced buffering compound helps protect the copper plated lead pellets during firing and reduce pellet deformation. These features are designed to produce tight, consistent patterns for turkey hunting.
Federal also equips Grand Slam turkey loads with a reliable Federal primer and Spur Tape markings on the hull, allowing hunters to measure a harvested turkey’s spurs in the field.
