Description
Federal Premium HammerDown 35 Remington Ammo 220 Grain JSP is a hunting load specifically developed to provide reliable performance in lever action rifles. Federal designed the HammerDown line around the unique cycling and barrel length characteristics of traditional lever guns, working with Henry Repeating Arms during the development of the ammunition.
The 220 grain molecularly bonded soft point bullet is designed for controlled expansion and weight retention on game. Federal states that the construction of HammerDown bullets is optimized for accuracy and expansion at velocities produced through lever action barrel lengths.
HammerDown ammunition also features nickel plated brass cases, specially formulated propellant, and Gold Medal® primers. The cartridge geometry and chamfered case rim are designed to promote smooth cycling through tubular magazines and lever-action feeding systems.
